Every Step Counts

Together, we can make a difference. By building awareness about mesothelioma and raising necessary for funds to support cancer research, we can improve the lives of patients and families throughout the country. Mesothelioma, a rare and aggressive cancer caused by exposure to asbestos, has long gone unnoticed. Yet it is a preventable disease that effects thousands of Americans and is widely considered one of the most painful cancers that exists.

Miles for Meso is an effort to rally our communities on September 26 for Mesothelioma Awareness Day. It is a day for us to honor those we have lost to mesothelioma, and a day of hope as we gather as a community to raise money to find better treatment options. Together, we hope to:

- Raise money for mesothelioma research

- Ban asbestos from all products in the United States

- Build public awareness about mesothelioma and the dangers of asbestos, a known carcinogen that is not yet banned in the United States
