Taking the Fight Against Mesothelioma Cancer to the Streets

Miles for Meso hit the ground running on September 26, 2009, Mesothelioma Awareness Day, in Alton, Illinois. Two years later races have taken place across the country in Missouri, Flordia, Indiana, Virginia, New York with more race locations being planned for 2012. Miles for Meso races raise more than $55,000 for Meso Research

Three Miles for Meso races, presented by the Simmons Law Firm, raised more than $55,000 for mesothelioma research over the weekend in Illinois, Virginia and New York. The money, a combination of registration fees, sponsorships and T-shirt sales, will benefit the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, a national non-profit dedicated to funding peer-reviewed research and patient support services for peopled diagnosed with mesothelioma. read more »
